7 m cylindrical aluminium flagpole ( Z90-7 ), Ø 90 mm has the item number 8101.02 and is characterised by nominal height 7 m, pole diameter 90 mm, standard hoisting system, cylindrical design. This version is available from 337,96 € incl. VAT.

7 m above ground – which means the pole is the typical choice for company entrances, car dealerships and club grounds. We recommend portrait flags of 350 to 500 cm in length, or landscape formats around 150 × 250 cm. The pole is set into a ground socket cast in concrete; the stated 7 m are the visible height above ground, so the overall length is correspondingly greater. Choose the ground socket to match the 90 mm tube diameter. You will find the matching foundation plan in the „Instructions“ tab. aluminium as the material and a cylindrical tube cross-section of 90 mm characterise this design. The standard hoisting system guides the rope on the outside of the pole and is straightforward to operate.

The external halyard with pulley and cleat is the standard hoisting device: affordable, robust and easy to operate.

The high-grade EN AW-6082T6 alloy ensures lasting stability. The anodised layer to Euras standard DIN 17611 (at least 20 micron layer thickness) guarantees a durable, attractive surface finish.

Equipment

  • Elegant top cap in silumin casting with integrated rope pulley
  • perlon halyard, Ø 5 mm, thimble crimped at both ends, stainless steel carabiner
  • cleat in cast aluminium, 160 mm

Technical data Nominal height 7 m, total length 7.70 m, cylindrical pole tube, Ø=90 mm, wall thickness = 3 mm, weight = 19 kg

Flag finishing

No special flag finishing is required. All common, freely flying types of flag up to a size of 1.50 x 4 m can be hoisted. The topmost flag carabiner is hooked into the thimble crimp of the halyard, the lower carabiners around the halyard.

Minimum stability 9 Beaufort The pole tubes in this product group are structurally verified as standard for a wind force of at least 9 Beaufort (99 km/h). The verification applies to the flag sizes stated above. If higher wind speeds occur, the flags must be taken down.

Without a flag, stability is guaranteed up to a wind speed of 130 km/h.

Stability in accordance with EN 1991-1-4/NA Where unrestricted stability in accordance with DIN EN is required, all nominal heights can be supplied with an internally reinforced pole base – in the tilting-mount installation version.

On request Special paint finish / special anodising

Do flagpoles need a foundation?
Yes, flagpoles should always have a foundation. As a rule, a ground socket is set in concrete and the flagpole is then simply inserted into it. This means the pole can easily be removed from the socket again at any time.
Which concrete is needed for the foundation?
Concrete C 25/30 – you will also find this information on the foundation plan. Concrete of grade C 25/30 is available from specialist suppliers (concrete plants, builders' merchants).
Do the foundation and the flagpole have to be installed by a specialist company?
With a little practical skill, any DIY enthusiast can install the foundation and the flagpole themselves following the instructions supplied. It is not strictly necessary for this to be done by a specialist company.
