9 m cylindrical aluminium flagpole ( Z100-9 ), Ø=100 mm has the item number 8111.09 and is characterised by nominal height 9 m, pole diameter 100 mm, standard hoisting system, cylindrical design. This model is available from 516,46 € incl. VAT.
At a nominal height of 9 m, the pole remains highly visible even across larger commercial sites and car parks. When choosing a flag, aim for 450 to 650 cm in length in portrait format, or around 150 × 300 cm in landscape. The foundation holds a ground socket, out of which the 9 m nominal height projects. Choose the ground socket to match the 100 mm tube diameter. You will find the matching foundation plan in the „Instructions“ tab. The tube is made of aluminium and has a cylindrical profile with a diameter of 100 mm. The standard hoisting system guides the rope on the outside of the pole and is straightforward to operate.
The external halyard with pulley and cleat is the standard hoisting device: affordable, robust and easy to operate.
The high-grade EN AW-6082T6 alloy ensures lasting stability. The anodised layer to Euras standard DIN 17611 (at least 20 micron layer thickness) guarantees a durable, attractive surface finish.
Equipment
Technical data Nominal height 9.00 m, total length 9.80 m, cylindrical pole tube, Ø=100 mm, wall thickness = 5 mm, weight = 41 kg
No special flag finishing is required. All common, freely flying types of flag up to a size of 1.50 x 5 m can be hoisted. The topmost flag carabiner is hooked into the thimble crimp of the halyard, the lower carabiners around the halyard.
Minimum stability 9 Beaufort The pole tubes in this product group are structurally verified as standard for a wind force of at least 9 Beaufort (99 km/h). The verification applies to the flag sizes stated above. If higher wind speeds occur, the flags must be taken down. Without a flag, stability is guaranteed up to a wind speed of 130 km/h.
Stability in accordance with EN 1991-1-4/NA Where unrestricted stability in accordance with DIN EN is required, all nominal heights can be supplied with an internally reinforced pole base – in the tilting-mount installation version.

Germany is divided into four wind zones under DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA. What matters is the basic wind velocity vb,0 at your installation site:
| Wind zone | vb,0 | approx. equals | typical location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wind zone 1 | 22.5 m/s | 81 km/h | inland southern and central Germany |
| Wind zone 2 | 25.0 m/s | 90 km/h | large parts of central and eastern Germany |
| Wind zone 3 | 27.5 m/s | 99 km/h | inland northern Germany, coastal hinterland |
| Wind zone 4 | 30.0 m/s | 108 km/h | North Sea and Baltic coasts and islands |
Which wind zone applies to me? The classification follows the district or independent city. You will find the full map here:

What does the figure on the product page mean? In the technical data of our poles you will find a statement such as "without flag to DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA wind zone I". This is the structural verification of the pole tube – it states up to which wind zone the pole has been verified by calculation without a flag. This figure is not an exclusion criterion for higher wind zones, but the basis for the design.
I live in wind zone 2, 3 or 4 – what now? Then the configuration is decisive: the type of ground fixing (ground socket or tilting mount), foundation size, pole height and above all flag size. The same pole can often be used in a higher wind zone with a different fixing or a smaller flag. On several of our series, stability up to a nominal height of 9 m is provided as standard for wind zone 2 as well.
Please ask us: tell us the installation site (postcode), the pole height you want and the flag size – we will check suitability for your wind zone and tell you the right configuration. Telephone +49 9833 98894-0 or use our contact form.
Please note: stability at a specific site is always governed by the individual verification to DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA, taking into account terrain category, surrounding buildings and foundation. The flag must be taken down when a storm warning is issued.
