6 m cylindrical aluminium flagpole, ZI75, Ø 75 mm, internal halyard has the item number 8109.06 and is characterised by nominal height 6 m, pole diameter 75 mm, internal halyard, cylindrical design. The entry-level price is 327,25 € incl. VAT.

With 6 m of visible height above ground, the pole is the typical choice for company entrances, car dealerships and club grounds. Portrait flags of between 300 and 400 cm in length suit this pole; in landscape format, sizes around 150 × 200 cm work well. The pole is installed in a ground socket cast in concrete; the stated 6 m remain visible above the foundation. Choose the ground socket to match the 75 mm tube diameter. You will find the matching foundation plan in the „Instructions“ tab. At 75 mm in diameter, the cylindrical tube is made of aluminium. The internal halyard runs protected inside the pole and makes unauthorised lowering of the flag more difficult.

The internal halyard of the ZI75 offers the best possible protection against flag theft, and operation is simple and convenient.

The perlon halyard running up inside the pole tube is operated via the lockable control housing with the SFS quick-fixing system. The long slide and flag fabric holders run quietly in the moulded pole groove. The flag is hooked into the eyelet of the long slide with its topmost carabiner, the remaining carabiners into the flag fabric holders (4 pcs.), which are made of plastic. To prevent the flag from riding up in gusts, the flag weight is attached to the lowest flag carabiner. The high-grade material EN AW-6082T6 ensures lasting stability. The anodised layer to Euras standard DIN 17611 (at least 20 micron layer thickness) guarantees a durable, attractive surface finish.

Do flagpoles need a foundation?
Yes, flagpoles should always have a foundation. As a rule, a ground socket is set in concrete and the flagpole is then simply inserted into it. This means the pole can easily be removed from the socket again at any time.
Which concrete is needed for the foundation?
Concrete C 25/30 – you will also find this information on the foundation plan. Concrete of grade C 25/30 is available from specialist suppliers (concrete plants, builders' merchants).
Do the foundation and the flagpole have to be installed by a specialist company?
With a little practical skill, any DIY enthusiast can install the foundation and the flagpole themselves following the instructions supplied. It is not strictly necessary for this to be done by a specialist company.
So what does ZI75 mean?
The I in ZI75 stands for internal halyard.
What are the advantages of an internal hoisting mechanism?
Flag and pole are considerably better protected against theft and vandalism. Poles with an internal hoisting mechanism are often more convenient to operate as well (e.g. by winch). It is less susceptible to dirt and moisture. The internal halyard is also quieter, since it cannot knock against the pole.
Is it possible to retrofit a flagpole with an outrigger?
Converting ZI poles with an internal halyard to ZA poles is no problem. The pole is then fitted with an outrigger that can be hoisted. The Z series with a standard hoisting mechanism can be converted to ZD, which cannot be hoisted. For other poles, please enquire.
