9 m cylindrical aluminium flagpole, ZI100K, Ø 100 mm, internal halyard, winch drive has the item number 8119.09 and is characterised by nominal height 9 m, pole diameter 100 mm, internal halyard, cylindrical design. This model is available from 840,14 € incl. VAT.

At a nominal height of 9 m, the pole remains highly visible even across larger commercial sites and car parks. When choosing a flag, aim for 450 to 650 cm in length in portrait format, or around 150 × 300 cm in landscape. The foundation holds a ground socket, out of which the 9 m nominal height projects. The pole diameter of 100 mm determines the matching socket size. You will find the matching foundation plan in the „Instructions“ tab. The tube is made of aluminium and has a cylindrical profile with a diameter of 100 mm. The internal halyard runs protected inside the pole and makes unauthorised lowering of the flag more difficult.

From 9 m nominal height the ZI100K already carries the large flag size of up to 1.50 x 5.00 m – which is why this version has 5 flag fabric holders instead of the 4 on the shorter variants. It is the right choice for prestigious entrances and groups of poles where the flag should be recognisable from a distance. As with all ZI poles, the halyard runs inside the tube; nothing is accessible from the outside.

The Flaglift crank hoisting device works with a spring-tensioned stainless steel rope guided as a continuous loop in the pole groove. A plug cylinder in the safety bolt protects against unauthorised operation. The topmost carabiner of the flag goes into the eyelet of the long slide, the others into the 5 plastic flag fabric holders; the flag weight on the lowest carabiner prevents it from riding up in gusts.

The material is the high-strength alloy EN AW-6082T6, which ensures lasting stability at this height. The surface is anodised to Euras standard DIN 17611 (at least 20 micron).

Do flagpoles need a foundation?
Yes, flagpoles should always have a foundation. As a rule, a ground socket is set in concrete and the flagpole is then simply inserted into it. This means the pole can easily be removed from the socket again at any time.
Which concrete is needed for the foundation?
Concrete C 25/30 – you will also find this information on the foundation plan. Concrete of grade C 25/30 is available from specialist suppliers (concrete plants, builders' merchants).
Do the foundation and the flagpole have to be installed by a specialist company?
With a little practical skill, any DIY enthusiast can install the foundation and the flagpole themselves following the instructions supplied. It is not strictly necessary for this to be done by a specialist company.
So what does ZI75 mean?
The I in ZI75 stands for internal halyard.
What are the advantages of an internal hoisting mechanism?
Flag and pole are considerably better protected against theft and vandalism. Poles with an internal hoisting mechanism are often more convenient to operate as well (e.g. by winch). It is less susceptible to dirt and moisture. The internal halyard is also quieter, since it cannot knock against the pole.
Is it possible to retrofit a flagpole with an outrigger?
Converting ZI poles with an internal halyard to ZA poles is no problem. The pole is then fitted with an outrigger that can be hoisted. The Z series with a standard hoisting mechanism can be converted to ZD, which cannot be hoisted. For other poles, please enquire.
