What does the figure on the product page mean? In the technical data of our poles you will find a statement such as "without flag to DIN EN 1991-1-4/NA wind zone I". This is the structural verification of the pole tube – it states up to which wind zone the pole has been verified by calculation without a flag. This figure is not an exclusion criterion for higher wind zones, but the basis for the design.
I live in wind zone 2, 3 or 4 – what now? Then the configuration is decisive: the type of ground fixing (ground socket or tilting mount), foundation size, pole height and above all flag size. The same pole can often be used in a higher wind zone with a different fixing or a smaller flag. On several of our series, stability up to a nominal height of 9 m is provided as standard for wind zone 2 as well.

8 m cylindrical aluminium flagpole, ZD75, Ø 75 mm, non-hoisting, outrigger / gallows arm has the item number 8106.11 and is characterised by nominal height 8 m, pole diameter 75 mm, outrigger, cylindrical design. Prices start at 361,76 € incl. VAT.
Designed for 8 m of visible height, the pole remains highly visible even across larger commercial sites and car parks. Suitable flags are portrait formats from 400 to 550 cm in length, or landscape flags around 150 × 300 cm. The pole is set into a ground socket in a concrete foundation; the 8 m nominal height is measured from ground level. The pole diameter of 75 mm determines the matching socket size. You will find the matching foundation plan in the „Instructions“ tab. The material used is aluminium; the pole tube is cylindrical with a diameter of 75 mm. The outrigger arm holds the flag clear of the pole so it stays readable even when there is no wind.
not hoistable, which means: to change the flag, the flagpole must be taken out of the ground socket and laid down. On the bracket/gallows poles, a rotor carrier is mounted on the long slide. The rotor with the removable flag bracket turns on this rotor carrier, which is made of plastic. Both the rotor and the bracket tube are made of anodised aluminium. On the bracket/gallows pole, the flag is slid onto the bracket tube by its upper hollow hem and the flag slings are attached with the flag carabiner so that the flag can rotate around the pole tube.
