8 m flagpole KA-K8 has the item number 8122.11 and is characterised by nominal height 8 m, outrigger, tapered design. The variant can be supplied from 1.370,88 € incl. VAT.

At 8 m of visible pole height, the pole remains highly visible even across larger commercial sites and car parks. For poles of this height we recommend portrait flags of roughly 400 to 550 cm in length – as a rule of thumb, a flag should be about half to two thirds of the nominal height. Installation requires a foundation with a ground socket – the 8 m nominal height refers to the visible section above ground level. You will find the matching foundation plan in the „Instructions“ tab. The outrigger arm holds the flag clear of the pole so it stays readable even when there is no wind.

Conical pole tube, mounted so that it rotates 360 degrees. Hoistable telescopic bracket for a max. flag width of 1.50 m. Concealed hoisting device in a mounted C-rail. Optional: sturdy, absolutely reliable and convenient flag hoisting system. Lasting stability thanks to a pole tube in high-grade aluminium alloy EN AW-6063T66 combined with large tube cross-sections and additional internal reinforcement in the area of the rotating bearing. Durable, attractive looks thanks to silver anodising of the pole tube, minimum layer thickness 20 my to the Euras standard. C-rail as an extruded aluminium profile, anodised in the colour of the pole tube. Maximum theft protection thanks to a lockable cover. Rotating bearing using maintenance-free ball bearings and special bushings, plug-in shaft in ST50K material with the highest possible strength. Tilting mount with safety hinge and adjusting bolt.

Technical data

Nominal height (NH): 8.00 m, total length (GL): 8.00 m, Ø at top: 76 mm, Ø at bottom: 135 mm Stability in accordance with EN 1991-1-4/NA is met

Flag finishing

Side tape with hooks. Hollow hem along the top edge of the fabric, Ø 30 mm, open on both sides. The topmost hook must be sewn on directly below the hollow hem. Hook spacing max. 1.00 m, max. fabric width 1.50 x 4 m. The flag is slid onto the bracket tube by its hollow hem. The topmost flag carabiner hooks into the hole of the long slide, the remaining carabiners into the eyelets of the flag fabric holders. The flag weight with stainless steel carabiner is hooked into the lowest flag fabric holder and thus prevents the flag from riding up in gusts.

Tilting mount included in the price.

Max. flag size
max. 4.00 x 1.50 m (portrait)
Outrigger
Telescopic outrigger 100 – 160 cm, Ø 25 mm
Does the flag turn?
Yes – the pole tube is mounted on a 360° swivel bearing.
Do flagpoles need a foundation?
Yes, flagpoles should always have a foundation. As a rule, a ground socket is set in concrete and the flagpole is then simply inserted into it. This means the pole can easily be removed from the socket again at any time.
Which concrete is needed for the foundation?
Concrete C 25/30 – you will also find this information on the foundation plan. Concrete of grade C 25/30 is available from specialist suppliers (concrete plants, builders' merchants).
Do the foundation and the flagpole have to be installed by a specialist company?
With a little practical skill, any DIY enthusiast can install the foundation and the flagpole themselves following the instructions supplied. It is not strictly necessary for this to be done by a specialist company.
What is the difference between a tapered and a cylindrical flagpole?
A tapered flagpole narrows from bottom to top. For example, the lower diameter is 177 mm and the upper one 76 mm. On a cylindrical flagpole the diameter is the same throughout.
What are the advantages of an outrigger pole?
Your flag stays clearly "readable" even without wind. Its life expectancy is also higher than that of a flag left to flap about wildly.
Which flag size do I need for which pole?
We recommend the following sizes:

Flags and banners, portrait format:
Nominal height in m Flag size in cm
5 80x200
6 100x300
7 150x350
8 100x400
