6 m aluminium flagpole Z-BY, cylindrical pole tube has the item number 8103.09 and is characterised by nominal height 6 m, pole diameter 75 mm, standard hoisting system, cylindrical design. The variant can be supplied from 352,24 € incl. VAT.

At 6 m of visible pole height, the pole is the typical choice for company entrances, car dealerships and club grounds. For poles of this height we recommend portrait flags of roughly 300 to 400 cm in length – as a rule of thumb, a flag should be about half to two thirds of the nominal height. Installation requires a foundation with a ground socket – the 6 m nominal height refers to the visible section above ground level. The pole diameter of 75 mm determines the matching socket size. You will find the matching foundation plan in the „Instructions“ tab. The cylindrical pole body of aluminium measures 75 mm in diameter. The standard hoisting system guides the rope on the outside of the pole and is straightforward to operate.

Flag finishing No special flag finishing is required. All common, freely flying types of flag up to a maximum size of 1.5 x 4 m can be hoisted. The topmost flag carabiner is hooked into the thimble crimp of the halyard, the lower carabiners around the halyard.

Do flagpoles need a foundation?
Yes, flagpoles should always have a foundation. As a rule, a ground socket is set in concrete and the flagpole is then simply inserted into it. This means the pole can easily be removed from the socket again at any time.
Which concrete is needed for the foundation?
Concrete C 25/30 – you will also find this information on the foundation plan. Concrete of grade C 25/30 is available from specialist suppliers (concrete plants, builders' merchants).
Do the foundation and the flagpole have to be installed by a specialist company?
With a little practical skill, any DIY enthusiast can install the foundation and the flagpole themselves following the instructions supplied. It is not strictly necessary for this to be done by a specialist company.
